Yes, Virginia, there is a ....Jesus!
Then Francesca led her in the "sinners prayer". It was there and then that Virginia accepted Christ into her life.
Since that day, Cindy has taken to her, a large print version of the book of John from the Bible.
Who knows how long we will be blessed with the life of Virginia here on this earth. But I am so thankful that Francesca and Cindy allowed themselves to be used by Jesus to talk to Virginia and invite her to open the door of her heart to Him. We and all the angels in heaven are rejoicing!
Francesca and Cindy (2 HFM volunteers) were just getting ready to leave a care facility when they came upon a lady in the hallway, named Virginia. They visited with her for awhile and Francesca said to her "Virginia, you know the Lord loves you?" Virginia kind of shrugged.
Cindy asked "Virginia, do you ever pray to the Lord?"
"Well, I have prayed for my daughter in the past because she really needs it, but I never have prayed for myself," Virginia replied.
Francesca asked, "If you died today, Virginia, would you go to heaven?"
   "I'm not sure" answered Virginia.
"Would you like to be sure?" Francesca asked.
Virginia's eyes lit up and she nodded and asked "How do I know for sure?"

Francesca and Cindy have been volunteers for Home Free Ministries since November 1st , 2002. Neither have had special training in evangilism, so to speak, but they both just love the Lord and have a real heart for the elderly. They are each beautiful prayer warriors and Jesus just oozes from them in their walk in this life. Neither of them  want to see any of our elderly population leave this earth without at least hearing about how much Jesus Christ loves them and how He died for their sins. We ask God for His continued blessings upon these 2 women.
