What is Home Free Ministries?

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization currently serving seniors in central and eastern Iowa, with a vision of reaching the entire state.

We are a Christ-centered and Biblically based

outreach program.

We recruit, screen, and train volunteers to provide programs and fellowship to seniors in independent, assisted living, health center, and memory care communities. Training is designed to meet the standards of professional care facilities.

By sharing the love and Gospel of Jesus, our services provide seniors with a sense of renewed hope, purpose, and future.

Though originally made when the ministry was first founded in the early 2000s, the video does a great job of sharing the heart and the "why" behind the ministry.

Our founder, Jerry, has had a heart for seniors his whole life, and answered the call to begin this ministry back in 2002.
